Kara Cortez

Born and raised in San Diego, Kara has a deep understanding of its different neighborhoods and communities, especially those in East San Diego and the surrounding county. Kara achieved a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, where she balanced academics with varsity women's rowing. She then earned a juris doctorate from UCLA. Now Kara uses negotiations skills along with her long-standing passion for real estate to close deals.

Admitted to the CA State Bar in 2013, Kara has a decade-long professional journey. That experience has been enriched by her obsession with homes—open houses, property hunting, and endless HGTV marathons. Beyond work, she finds joy in hiking, reading (literally everything), and cherishing moments with her two young children.
